Dr. Gupta lends a hand in India

HI I THINK THEY SHOULD FORCE ON HEALTH CARE. I WORK FOR CHILDREN HOSPITAL IN MILAUKEE WI. IN ORTH DEPT. THE WAY THE DOCTOR CHANG THE PT JUST FOR A F/U AND DONT TAKE TIME TO REALLY LOOK A THE PT IS REALLY WRONG . ALSO JUST FOR ONE X-RAY IS OVER 200 DOLLARS AND SOMTIME THEY SEND THE PT BACK AGAIN BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO COVER THEMSELF.YOU HAVE DOCTOR WHO WORK FOR CHILDREN ARE OVER CHANGE PT, AND GUESS WHAT THE BIG CEO LEFT AFTER ALL THIS MONEYING COME UP MISS. I FEEL THEY NEED TO COME AND CHECK OUT THEIR BUGET AND SEE HOW THEY CHANG THEIR PT AND THE WAY THE TREAT DIFFRENT COLOR . I SEE IT ALL THANK YOU

I saw your piece on Medical tourism this evening but have not found the piece online. I especially enjoyed the story since I was forced to have knee surgery in India 2 years ago because I could not get a doctor to see me without insurance here. I was at Max Hospital in New Dehli. I traveled alone. For the most part I had excellent care at the hospital. The staff was much more attentive to my care than any care my relatives have received in the states. Not all the equipment was up to date but the operating room seemed to be. I blogged about my experience here: http://www.midlifeonwheelsblog.com/2008/09/passage-to-india-for-healthcare.html . It would have been nice if I could have received care in the country that I live in but I think my care was better in India.
